This is an excerpt from Book #8, where the crew encounters a surfboard dancing gracefully on the waves…

(Illustrations to come)

“These waters are filled with vessels that are skilled
At sailing with power and speed
With whistles and bells and fat bellies of swells
And more things that they’d ever need
Many want rings and big beautiful things
But it’s just more burden to haul
My good cheer I owe to the fact that I know
Things won’t make you happy at all.”

“I’d much rather do than just simply accrue
Life is more simple that way
Memories take much less effort to make
And unlike things they don’t decay
Keep that in mind so you won’t be confined
By material things that cause strife
Those are my takes now I’m back to the breaks
To carry on with my pure life!”
