Sample from Book #8 on dealing with misinformation…

(Illustrations to come)

“That bird always tries to catch hold of my eyes
And make me listen to his views
I learned very quick that I must choose and pick
The sources I’ll trust for my news
Consider their tone if they chide or they moan
You should ask what they’re trying to sell
The ones who are wise and are not telling lies
Never have reason to yell.”

“When they cry ‘fake news’ it is one of the clues
That they likely have something to hide
They’re certainly scared of info being shared
‘Cause the facts don’t line up on their side
Newspapers of truth, mostly long in the tooth
Convey many views with their ink
For you to decide with your logic applied
They do not tell you what to think.”
